Dholavira is an archaeological site in Khadirabet in Bhachau taluka of Kutch district in the state of Gujarat. Also locally known as Kotada timba, Dholavira is one of the five largest Harappan sites in India and one of the most prominent archaeological sites that belong to the Indus Valley Civilization.

Discovered in 1967-68 by J. P. Joshi, of the Archaeological Survey of India, Dholavira contains ruins of an ancient Indus Valley Civilization. Dholavira is also regarded as having been the grandest of cities of its time.
