Spread over an area of 60 acres, Vidhana Soudha is known as the ‘Taj Mahal of South India’. Vidhana Soudha took five years to build and was finally inaugurated in 1956.
Described as ‘A temple dedicated to the nation’ by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Vidhana Soudha houses the Karnataka State Legislature and Secretariat and is one of the most popular attractions in Bengaluru’s vibrant and colorful city.
