Spread over 300 acres, Kabban Park, officially called Sri Chamarajendra Park, is located in the heart of Bangalore city. Cubbon Park is one of the major attractions of Bangalore city. The park first called Meade’s Park in 1870. Later it was renamed Cubbon Park following the name of Sir Mark Cubbon.

The Park is a repository of many species of plants and trees that contain many underlying species of plants. The museum has ruins of Mohenjo-Daro and also has some specimens of the ancient Vijayanagara Empire, old-time coins, and many stone inscriptions.
